Description
- Traditionally made on a cylinder mould machine
- Made of 100% woodfree bleached chemical pulp
- Archival standard, no OBAs (Optical brightening agents)
- Known for its excellent colour lifting abilities
- Because watercolour paint is transparent the colour of the paper is a very important part of the painting.
- The colour of the ground will affect everything on top of it, both the painted and unpainted areas, even different shades of white.
- The artist can substantially alter the mood and atmosphere of the painting by using a coloured paper. These Bockingford tinted papers are worth experimentation.
This tinted paper is also a great drawing paper and is useful for a wide range of techniques.
