Charcoal points wear down fast during extended drawing sessions, and standard sharpeners crush soft media into useless fragments.

This sandpaper pad solves both problems with twelve sheets of fine-grit paper mounted on a comfortable handle that lets you shape points exactly how you need them.

Drag charcoal, graphite, pastel, or conte across the abrasive surface to create sharp tips for detail work or chisel edges for broad strokes.

The mounted handle keeps your hands clean and provides control that loose sandpaper sheets can’t match, you’re shaping the medium, not wrestling with curling paper.

Each sheet handles multiple sharpenings before you tear it away to reveal fresh grit underneath.

This approach preserves soft media that conventional sharpeners would destroy while giving you precision control over point shape. Portrait artists use it to maintain needle-sharp charcoal tips for eyelash details. Landscape drawers create angled edges for rendering tree bark texture. The pad works equally well for wax-based crayons and oil pastels that gum up blade sharpeners. Keep one at your drawing station for quick touch-ups between marks, maintaining consistent line quality without interrupting your workflow.
