The Pentel Sharp P200 series was introduced in 1970, and today it remains one of the world’s best-selling mechanical pencils. It’s easy to see why this classic design has lasted more than half a century: it’s good-looking, very reliable, and affordable. P200 pencils have strong metal clips, and the mechanism inside uses a brass clutch to hold the lead firmly. That’s uncommon for a mechanical pencil at this price.
P200 series pencils can last for many years, because the build quality is excellent and the consumable parts (Z2-1N erasers and standard lead) are easily replaced at any stationery shop.
