Description
This Safety Hand Guard is an essential safety measure in classroom environments.
The natural instinct is to drive a cutting gouge towards the restraining hand holding the work piece, so we have created a guard that covers the smallest to the more dexterous larger hand, in one item.
The guard is held either at the corner of the relief block or on top of the carving material close to the area to be cut.
Any slippage is caught in the upright walls of the guard protecting the user from harm.
An ergonomic, left or right handed, one piece moulding at a price that makes its inclusion in your tool box and school room a must.
The natural instinct is to cut the lino by driving the cutter tool toward the restraining hand that is holding the artwork.
This safety hand guard allows you to hold the lino firmly and protect your hand in case the tool slips.

Daler-Rowney Goldfinger 22ml Antique Gold
Daler-Rowney Goldfinger is an all-purpose, rub-on metallic paste available in five finishes. It can be used for anything from the restoration of antiques to gilding picture frames. To preserve the lustre, Goldfinger can be treated with Goldfinger Varnish. Goldfinger can also be used in a mixed-media approach, as an oil paint.

It produces a really professional finish with no signs of metallic particles or smears. For intricate work, Goldfinger can be thinned with white spirit or turpentine and used with a brush. To preserve the lustre, Goldfinger can be treated with Goldfinger Varnish. Daler-Rowney Goldfinger Varnish effectively protects the lustre of decorative metallic furniture and metallic picture frames. It is made of premium quality diacatone alcohol & ethanol which does not dry up easily and can be used for a long period of time.
