My Art is of human beauty and fearlessness plus sadness. A madness that spreads from the mind to free once’s soul from shackles of society.
There is a psychological aspect to painting and drawing,rather deceptive but simple.
If you look deeper you may see a story in every one of my work.
Some will see stark nudity and some will see the beautiful human body and some will see a story.
How each painting and drawing is viewed is completely subjective to the individual view.
My work is not silent it shouts , screams and whispers to you,
as you view it try to decipher or interpret the meaning.
Hello my name is Rajiv Kapdee. I have lived and worked in UK for over three decades. As an Artist and designer. My education background is in interior design with architecture from Brighton University – UK.
Pandemic has changed many a lives for me, it was time to reconnect with my Art. Thus my journey began as an Artist. After pandemic I traveled between Uk and India, particularly to a town by name of Bardoli and fate had a gift for me I met “The Art Park” a store that’s a haven for Artist in Gujrat. Soon last year I was invited to take part as judge in an event hosted by The art park and this was the start of my journey as an Artist between Uk and India. Since then I have made numerous journeys between India – Bardoli & UK. The Art Park has become my second home in Bardoli india. We both seem to be developing and growing close as well as working together. The latest event is an excellent opportunity for us to be able to continue our collaboration as an Artist ambassador for “The Art Park”.
The works I present to you are the works of idealistic mind and its wants for knowledge as well as freedom to create and share the art in a collaborative environment with “The Art Park”.
